COVID - 19  FOR THE RENTAL INDUSTRY IN 2020

What a year 2020 has been.  A year none of us in the entertainment and rental industry will ever forget. It’s the year that everything stopped for us and none of us really thought it would ever happen.  I hope you are all holding in there and I know we are all hoping that we can get Covid-19 behind us and finish off this year strong. We don’t know yet what exactly the rest of the year will look like, but as events are picking back up again, we want to let you all know that we are in this together.

During this pandemic, we all learned how important it is to support small businesses who were hit the hardest.  We know how difficult it is for everyone trying to have events again while staying under budget, keeping up with new safety guidelines and so many other variables.  We will beat anyone’s price by 10% for the same or comparable equipment for any event. We will of course continue to provide the same HD family service that cannot be beat and the best quality that we can provide.

We are beyond grateful for every event and opportunity given and will not forget the ones that have allowed us to get through this time.  If there is anything that we can do to help you during this pandemic, please let us know. Together we can all get through this!

We are doing everything that we can do to keep our customers, vendors and employees safe including: disinfecting equipment after it has been on a job, temperature checks for every employee every morning, increased hand washing, hand sanitizer and wipes in each truck, and wearing masks while on every job site.

New safety protocols, regulations, and equipment upgrades

We want to assure everyone that at Harris Diversified we are closely monitoring the CDC and World Health Organization guidelines, as well as the federal, state, and local recommendations and ordinances.  We are taking every precaution necessary to prevent the spread of Covid-19 within our business, to keep not only our own employees safe, but to keep you and your employees safe as well.  We are currently looking into the safest and most cost-effective options to keep everyone protected and meeting the safety regulations, but also trying to find ways that you can still cover the new protocols within your budget.

We understand that a new department has been created within each film production for health and safety.  We are happy to work along side to find the best solutions for every production to meet their safety regulations.  We will continue to read, research, and ask questions on how to make our equipment best suited toward the new safety regulations.

Steps that Harris Diversified is taking to reduce the spread of Covid-19

•    All employees must have their temperature checked before clocking in.

•    Masks are to be worn anytime on a job site and when meeting with clients.

•    We use no-touch greetings when they do meet with a client.

•    Hand sanitizer and wipes are kept in each truck.

•    All commonly touched items around the office are cleaned and sanitized daily.

•    New hygiene, hand washing, and sanitizing protocols have been implemented.

•    All equipment is washed and disinfected after it has been picked up from each job site.

•    All employees are instructed to stay home if they do not feel well or have been exposed to Covid-19.

•    We have participated in the American Rental Associations Clean. Safe. Essential. Program, which is a

certification program designed to instruct employers on how to properly operate a rental business during our current pandemic.

We look forward to quoting your next event and working with you again soon!
