NOPI Nationals - 2003 Our first event

HOW IT ALL STARTED....

Harris Diversified was really built on "Word of Mouth". We have learned that when you have a great product or service, the business will come to you. Our business is located in the Northwest Metro area of Atlanta, Georgia. It is family owned and operated since 2003. Rick Harris is the CEO,Operations Manager and also a licensed electrician with the state of Georgia. He brings to the table, 29 years electrical experience. Twenty of those years were in the convention industry. He worked ten years with Georgia World Congress Center, as well as ten years with The Cobb Galleria Centre. Rick has a lot of knowledge and experience on event power. It is his specialty. He knows what it takes to power up any size event, since most of his experience was in the convention and event industry. Delores Harris is the Office Manager and Bookkeeper. Other family members assist in the field and in the office.

Rick's first event was the NOPI Nationals at AMS. That one event 6 years ago, literally opened the door for us, when we were not even looking. One event actually led to another. Every time Rick does a new event, or job, other new jobs usually come from it. Our events have expanded into other cities and states as well. After he had a few events under his belt, he decided to start the generator rental part of the "total package" electrical contracting service equation, specializing in outdoor events. Now we can actually take care of all electrical needs from beginning to end (Event: Permits, Consulting for power requirements, Generator & Distribution Equipment Rentals, Power Installation, During Event Standby Electrician, and onsite Diesel Fuel service).

Our Goal....

WE WANT OUR CUSTOMERS TO CALL HD FOR ALL POWER INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS & TO KNOW THEY CAN DEPEND ON OUR EXPERTISE, WITHOUT HAVING ANY WORRIES. While we are capable of catering to the big events, we appreciate the small ones too! We are very experienced on setting up events and festivals. This is not our first rodeo! We take great pride in our service and having dependable equipment. The greatest compliment is when a customer is very happy at the end of an event and wants us to remain as their electrical contractor. Customer Service is very important to us and vital for our company's success. Having repeated loyal customers is where we feel that good customer service pays off. We want our customers to feel they have been treated with courtesy, but on a professional, honest and friendly basis.
